staples and crafty bits

Yes, i haven't done anything remotely arty since renovations of ktchens and bathrooms have begun. finally on last stage of kitchen and we have a new bath, deep and ready for me to relax in.....one of these days.
I finally have a free minute or two now that kids are both having a little afternoon nap, which is a rarity.
Have invested in a good quality staple gun and some gorgeous fabric , some from Duck Cloth in Australia to cover two 1950's chairs and some huge cube ottomans. I will hopefully post them shortly, if...........children continue to beahve..fingers crossed xx

Children offer us some great ideas for fueling our imagination, listen to their funny banter and watch how they create games from the simplest of things
At the moment Charlie & Lola are their most loved, not to mention my secret favorite and my best.
How gorgeous it is to remember our childhood and what influence it has become on our passions today.

Wintery breezes catch me unaware, summer has passed so quickly .Icey fingers, chilly toes.
scour aging through drawers and cupboards for a woolly jumper or long socks to keep the chills away.
Golden grasses, turning green as they taste there first drops of rain,
Autumn roses giving their last offerings to the bees, with marvelous blooms attracting before winter sets in.
Lush foliage and velvety blooms in tall vases, simply lovely.
